Over a period of seven-days, the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society’s mobile medical teams delivered emergency healthcare to a total of 4,493 patients across the two districts. This included 1,676 male patients, 1,838 female patients, and 979 child patients. The team treated common ailments such as respiratory infections, waterborne diseases, and injuries sustained during the flood.

On Friday, a massive fire erupted at camp 13 in Cox’s Bazar, resulting in the destruction of around 221 shelters (16 fully dismantle, 153 fully burnt and 52 partial burnt).
