Operational Update August 24

Population Movement Operation (#PMO) of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) reached a total of 101,514 people including 75,219 from camp settlemets and 26,295 from the host community in August, 2024 in Cox’s Bazar.
The key humanitarian interventions are Healthcare including Clinical service, Community-Based Health and First Aid (CBHFA), Mental Health & Psychosocial Suspport (#MHPSS), Disaster & Climate Risk Management (#DCRM), WASH, Livelihood, Shelter, Non-Formal Education, etc.
Protection, Gender & Inclusion (PGI) and Community Engagement & Accountability (CEA), the two cross-cutting approaches are ensuring inclusiveness, dignity, participation and accountability with  the stakeholders.
We are extending our heart-felt gratitude to the Red Cress Red Crescent (#RCRC) partners e.g., International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, American Red Cross, BritishRedCross, Røde Kors, Deutsches Rotes Kreuz, 日本赤十字社, الهلال الاحمر القطري Qatar Red Crescent, Röda Korset, Schweizerisches Rotes Kreuz & Türk Kızılay for continuing their support to the humanitarian crisis.
