The humanitarian crisis in the camp settlement and affected host communities continues to be in protracted nature. With no sign of repatriation, some desperate camp people are still undertaking risky negative coping mechanism including boat trip to new destination. To address this crisis, BDRCS is seeking potential donors’ commitment to continue the emergency operation with basic needs and lifesaving assistance in collaboration with the Government and within and beyond of RCRC partners. BDRCS is also negotiating with the IFRC and RCRC partners on localization and rationalization process considering the crisis transforming into long-term mode.
