The situation along the Bangladesh-Myanmar border and within the camp settlements has been continuously raising significant security concerns in June. Amidst the ongoing war between the junta forces and armed groups in Myanmar, 28 Border Guard Police (BGP) officers were reported seeking shelter in Bangladesh. Consequently, a new influx of people from Rakhine State to Bangladesh is highly likely. Also, several drug trafficking, targeted killings, armed conflicts, and fire incidents have been reported within the camp settlement during the month.
