Bangladesh Red Crescent Society(BDRCS), under the Pilot Programmatic Partnership (PPP), observed National Disaster Preparedness Day 2024 in Rajshahi, Sylhet, and Cox’s Bazar to grow awareness among the local communities on the necessity of preparedness for calamities.
Rajshahi City Unit, Sylhet Unit, and Cox’s Bazar Unit organized various activities that includes rallies, fire safety simulations, street drama, and discussions – where people from different walks of life, including the district administration, participated with enthusiasm.
BDRCS is implementing PPP with the support of the EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid DG ECHO, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Deutsches Rotes Kreuz, Røde Kors , and Röda Korset.
