BDRCS Interventions Cox’s Bazar May 2021

BDRCS, as an Auxiliary to the Government, keeps continued its humanitarian assistances with the support of the UNHCR, IFRC, ICRC and other RCRC National Societies in collaboration with the RRRC, Civil Surgeon, relevant UN agencies and other stakeholders.
May 2021 was the month of cyclone YAAS associating with heavy rainfall. During this time all BDRCS’ entities were involved with the readiness and response to the cyclone YAAS. The operations were also impeded for imposing restriction due to lockdown to curb transmission of COVID-19 across the country. In collaboration with Health dept/Civil surgeon office, Red Crescent Youth (RCYs) volunteers persist their support in rolling out the vaccination program.
